I have a lucky bamboo that my sister gave to me for Christmas almost 4 years ago now. It is in a 6” tall ceramic container with small rocks and water (I water it with purified water) and the bamboo itself is about 34" tall (above the rocks). I have kept this plant in my work offices and it has thrived under the florescent lights. I just started a new job about a month ago, brought it to my office and now it is looking sick. In my new office it gets part florescent light and part natural light and it is still getting purified water.

The newest leaves are a very pale green (almost yellow) and kind of blochy looking, a couple have totally yellowed and in the center where the new leaves grow out are “burnt or brownish” looking spots.

I love my bamboo and am very distressed that it is sick. Do you have any advice as to what I can do to help it recuperate?
