Lucky bamboo is sick

I have a lucky Bamboo that my husband got me for Valentine's Day, and it is sick.

Firstly, some of the shoots have yellow/brown leaves. Secondly, the stalks are wilthering, and thirdly, there is a horrible odor coming from it.

I change the water every week or 2. I do put warm tap water in it, but I let it set overnite. I wash the container and roots about every 2 weeks. I also water my bamboo daily.

I really don't want to lose my bamboo. Please help me!

First off, you should feed it some plant nutrition.
Leave it for a week, and if it hasn't gotten any better it's probably dead.

Nothing more to do about that.

I heard that it is not good to use tap water. Use bottle water.
